Weight off my shoulders

After major, heavy-duty abdominal surgery, you would think there would be more complicated, involved instructions for my recovery than, "No heavy lifting for six weeks." But that's basically it. They're kicking me out of the hospital around noon today, and I spend the next four weeks recovering at home.

Weird.

Weird, but awesome. I'm sure it will be good to be home.

And if a major snowfall hits again I'll help out w/ the shovel duties - but this offer is only good for the next six weeks. :P

Hey Mitch-

Glad you get to go home- I'm sure that avoiding heavy lifting in the comfort of your own home will be a welcome change.

Best,

Mitch,
No heavy lifting and lots of time at Miller Park. That should speed the healing. Good luck. Maybe we could get the Honkers to do another "Mitch Teich Night at the Honkers". Or do you want to wait for the 10-year anniversary next year?
I'll check in during our next Milwaukee visit.
